Daniel Tambasco is an exciting young Sydney-born tenor. He graduated with a Diploma in Music and Advanced Diploma in Opera and also a Masters degree in Music Opera Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2014. A semi-finalist in the Joan Sutherland & Richard Bonynge Bel Canto Award in 2013, Daniel lists among his operatic roles Rodolfo in Puccini’s La Bohème as well as a wide variety of roles in operas by Mozart, Cimarosa, Offenbach, Gluck, Purcell, Milhaud, Nicolai and Verdi. Daniel has an extensive repertoire that includes Gilbert & Sullivan operettas as well as oratorios including Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, and sacred works by JS Bach, Mozart and Haydn. He is presently a casual member of the Opera Australia Chorus.
